ITS staff have not necessarily received training on the application and do not support the functional operation of the application but will refer users to self-support sites, Mason instructors, vendors, or departmental support when known. ITS staff may assist users in installing the application for supported operating systems. FileZilla Server is an FTP server supported by the same project. The client is available under many platforms, binaries for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X are provided. It supports FTP, SFTP, and FTPS (FTP over SSL/TLS). ITS may provide these software applications via Software Center, JAMF, or other endpoint management systems. FileZilla Client is a free, open source FTP client. This software is available online in the Citrix Virtual Lab.

FileZilla Client is a fast and reliable cross-platform FTP, FTPS, and SFTP client with lots of useful features and an intuitive graphical user interface.
